An appeal by Rebecca Stanfield
On June 11th 2010, I will be embarking upon one of my biggest challenges, climbing to the summit of Kilimanjaro!!!
As some of you may know, Vision Africa was started by Grandparents and over the years I have had the privilege of being able to watch the organisation grow into what it is today. I recently spent just short of a year volunteering with Vision Africa, working in the various projects.
I have seen Vision Africa operate on the ground and words cannot express how they are literally transforming the lives of children. I have seen firsthand how Vision Africa spends its funds and I can guarantee that it really does go to those who need it most. It is for this reason that I have set myself the target of completing this challenge.
I am completely self-funding this trip, so every single penny that is donated will go 100% to Vision Africa.
