Happy New Year

As 2010 draws to a close, we would like to thank you for your support throughout this year.

Crafted Fashion Show

On Thursday 4th November, something pretty amazing happened in Nairobi. It started with an email six weeks earlier and we had no idea it would grow into the fantastic event that it did. The occasion? The launch of a new collection of Crafted clothing at a fashion show to raise funds for Vision Africa’s feeding programs.

Informal Schools Football Tournament 2010

World Food Day…and beyond

As a charity, Vision Africa relies on donations to enable us to support community projects in Kenya. Some of these donations are in the form of monthly contributions through our child sponsorship program, others are from one off events or sponsored challenges. Historically, most of our fundraising has been done in the UK but that is changing.

Dakar Rally Fundraiser

In recent years, Vision Africa has talked about plans to expand the Seed of Hope program to cater for boys as well as girls. This has never been possible due to lack of available funds. That situation is about to change thanks to an inspiring couple, John and Tina Harffey, who are fundraising to set up a Seed of Hope centre that will provide vocational training for teenage boys.
