We’ve been through the qualifying rounds and now the race is on!!
Vision Africa is taking part in the “Global Giving” challenge to win a permanent spot on their website. If successful, this will provide an excellent opportunity for us to raise funds for our projects.
For those who are not familiar with Global Giving it is an online marketplace that connects donors to the causes and countries they care about. You select the projects you want to support, make a contribution, and get regular progress updates – so you can see your impact.
In order to earn our place on the Global Giving site, we have been challenged to raise
$4,000through a minimum of 50 donors in just 1 month
Our chosen project is the training of 300 destitute teenage girls at our 4 Seed of Hope centres throughout Kenya. We are asking our supporters to help us in this challenge and in doing so, help us to change the lives of these girls by empowering them and giving them an independent future.
