Fund Raising

As you will see by looking at our projects, at the fact file and at our photo gallery, the need in Kenya is overwhelming.  So many children orphaned by Aids and with no hope of breaking the cycle of poverty, exploitation and death.   With your help, however, we can make a difference.

Vision Africa has a very low cost operating model in the UK.  Because our team are all volunteers who claim no expenses for their work, we are able to keep our overheads to approximately 1% of our total income, meaning that 99% of what you give goes where it is most needed - to help the children in Kenya.

We need two types of funding:  

• We need large amounts to fund our capital projects, such as building children's homes and schools.   

• We also need regular sums of money, of any size, to help keep our education and feeding programs going.

Did you know that for as little as £60 per year (or £5 a month) we can pay for a child's education and food?  Just 50 pence a week will pay for a meal for each day they are at school.  Or for as little as £1500* we can build a new good quality classroom for a school or Seed of Hope vocational training centre.

If you would like to help us to help the children you can send a gift from our web-site today via our on-line giving.  Or if you prefer, you can send  donations to our Treasurer at the address given on our Contacts page.  No matter how big or small, every penny makes a difference.  Please make Cheques payable to 'Vision Africa' and if you are outside the UK then the cheque (check) should be in your local currency, not British Pounds.
